Terms of Service

1. GENERAL INFO- I reserve the right to decline any commission request for any reason.
- I reserve the right to cancel any commission without refund due to inappropriate conduct from the client.2. PAYMENT- All prices are listed in USD.
- Full payment is due upfront. If there are special circumstances, I can make exceptions on a case-by-case basis but will not go below 50% upfront.
- If changes are made to the price after the initial payment, then you will be charged the extra price before delivery of the final piece.
- Commission requests can be canceled and refunded until I begin work; after work has begun I can only offer partial refunds. I reserve the right to refuse refund requests.3. PROCESS AND DELIVERY- When your request comes in, I will notify you that I have received it and give an estimate of when I will be able to begin working on your piece. I work on commissions in the order I receive them, so there may be clients before you.
- I will notify you once I begin work on your piece. The delivery estimates listed on my form are from when I started working, not from when the commission was first requested.
- I will send the sketch for approval and you can request revisions, after you approve the sketch there will be no more room for revisions.
- Flat colors will be sent for approval.
- Rendered piece will be sent for approval and last minutes adjustment to lighting/colors.
- Finished piece will be sent as PNG file.5. COPYRIGHT / USAGE POLICY- I, Alec/gh0ststag (the artist), claim the rights to the produced drawing, not the buyer. Therefore I am allowed to use the copyrighted artwork to:
- Promote myself.
- Display/post it on social media.
- Use it in my portfolio and commission sheet.- The buyer is allowed to:
- Use the commissioned piece for any personal use.
- Post to social media with proper credit to me.
- Print for personal use.- The following is considered copyright infringement:
- Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially - making profits from the commissioned piece (reselling, redistributing, uploading to POD-services, selling prints, etc.).
- Claiming the artwork as your own.
- Removing my signature from the artwork.8. REGARDING AI/NFTs/etc.- I do not allow under any circumstances for my work to be used for any form of AI or NFT.
